So I admit it, with finals week closing to an end, I delayed my million blog posts that I was set out to write. Have no worries, because I am back! First off, I am happy that I closed out the semester with a BANG and managed to get all A’s (except we don’t talk about what happened in Finance). I also said goodbye to my internship I was interning at and managed to land two for the summer (along with summer school). Yes, I am a crazy work-a-holic right now, but aren’t we all?
One of the internships is in Austin which I will be working remotely at from Dallas about 10 hours a week. I will be doing data analysis on keyword research and optimization. I can definitely say I got blessed with great opportunities y’all. The view from my Austin internship made me die a little inside.
In the heart of the city with the view of the capital. I was in HEAVEN. Everyone was so welcoming and wonderful, I didn’t want to leave. I will be going back July 6th just to stop by, check in and say hello. So far I love it, but I only wish that I could be physically in the office everyday instead of behind my computer screen working from my couch (which isn’t all to bad either).
Everyday I’m Hustlin’
You guys already know I was born to hustle, So where am I hustlin’ to next? Well, my second internship is in Dallas Downtown (40 hours a week). It was my first week this past week along with my online class! The atmosphere here is a lot different then my past internships, but I only have good things to say about it. Everyone here is around my age, which I love because we can relate and understand each other better. I also got an awesome desk, along with drinking the best coffee every morning (that’s a given).
Here is what the “typical” intern desk looks like and this is me fulfilling that stereotype this past week.
What About Traveling?
You guys already know that even if I am super busy, I still somehow manage to take time out to do what I love most. The past month I went to D.C as well as Vegas with friends! Check it out under the menu bar for my travels (coming soon).
